A MOTTLED GREENISH-WHITE AND GREYISH-LAVENDER JADEITE CENSER AND COVER
The compressed body raised on three supports surmounted by lion masks, with a pair of loop handles suspending loose rings and issuing from dragon heads, the cover surmounted by a buddhistic lion and its cub shown standing on the ribbon tied to the brocade ball under the adult's paw, the stone shading from pale greyish lavender to greenish white with some areas of russet color
6¾ in. (17.3 cm.) across handles, wood stand

Acquired in Hong Kong in the 1950s and thence by descent within the family.
