Of bud shape, the sides painted in brown on a white slip with three feathery leaf sprays and covered in a clear glaze, the lower body and foot unglazed revealing the granular body, the mouth rim and interior similarly covered in white slip under a clear glaze

A similar jar is illustrated by M. Sullivan, Chinese Ceramics, Bronzes and Jades in the Collection of Sir Alan and Lady Barlow, London, 1963, p. 64-5, pl. 56a.
