Lot Essay

A pair of similar bowls of slightly larger size (4¾ in.), also with Yongzheng marks, was included in the exhibition, Splendour of the Qing Dynasty, Hong Kong Museum of Art, 1992, no. 138. See, also, the pair of bowls sold in our Paris rooms, 22 November 2005, lot 102.
