DAOGUANG PERIOD (1821-1850)
Of cylindrical form, raised on three blue bear-form feet, the exterior decorated with a band of characters in seal script that may be translated as 'made in imitation of the Four Divinities lian of Zhou dynasty, to be treasured and used by later generations,' above narrow, raised pink and blue bands overlaid with a pair of faux mask and ring handles, with two pairs of confronted dragons below, the base with a six-character mark reading Daoguang nian feng shi zhi (made by Feng during the Daoguang period), all reserved on a yellow ground beneath a gilded rim, the interior glazed turquoise
