A RARE YELLOW JADE POUCH-FORM BOTTLE AND A COVER
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
Of flattened pear shape, carved on both sides with raised lines in imitation of a cloth pouch that is gathered at the neck by the looped and knotted cords that form the openwork handles on the narrow sides, the rectangular mouth with rounded corners and inner oval opening, the stone of pale, creamy yellow color, with an area of pale russet color at the bottom of one of the narrow sides and spots of russet on the handle on that side; the cover with rope-twist finial, and of similar color
