Perhaps a lid or fragment from a bowl, decorated on the underside in gold leaf with added red paint, with an eight-petalled rosette, ivy leaves and berries between the tips, bordered by a band of gold, remains of bronze on the back
1 1/8 in. (7.9 cm) diam.
