The approx. knot count is 6H x 9V per sq. cm.

The inscription cartouche reads; amal Ustad 3133, The work of (the) master, 3133.

This Kaiseri rug is in unusually good condition for the rugs of this origin. It clearly shows the souf technique similar to that used in Persia, with the design in pile against a flatwoven metal thread or silk ground.
