The ewer wit rounded body, slightly curving handle and curved spout, the basin of wide flaring form, with original pierced tray, the engraved decoration with stars and crescents, with tughra of Sultan Mehmet V (r. 1909-18) or Mehmet VI (r. 1918-1922), sahh and assay marks
Basin 15in. (38cm.) diam.; ewer 13in. (33cm.) high
