A single leaf with watercolour in red, green, silver and gold depicting the standard of Mohammed taken from the Grand Vizier Merzifonlu Kara Mustafa Pasha at the siege of Vienna on 12 September 1683. The text, in black ink, translates the Arabic script on the standard and describes how it was sent to by the King of Poland, Jan III Sobieski, to Pope Innocent XI through his secretary Tommaso Talenti (some spotting and browing).
