THE RARE FULL SUITE OF MAKHAEV VIEWS OF ST. PETERSBURG, one of the masterpieces of 18th-century engraving in Russia, commemorating the city's remarkable growth in the 50 years since its foundation, and commissioned as part of the city's first jubilee celebrations.
