Two Dutch silver miniature stoves, a cup, an iron and a cruet stand and two glass bottles
One stove with mark of Johannes van Somerwil I, Amsterdam, 1730, also struck with later Dutch duty mark, the other stove struck with indistinct maker's mark, Amsterdam, first half 18th Century, also struck with later Dutch duty mark; the cup apparently unmarked; the iron with mark of Willem van Strant, Amsterdam, 1738; the cruet stand with mark of Jan Borduur, Amsterdam, 1761
Each stove of square shape, one with canted corners, each with five holes to the cover and one open side, marked on bases and cover; the iron with hinged cover, straight handle and openwork sides, marked on side and base, on a stand, marks indistinct, 18th Century; and a cruet stand with two openwork circular holders with handle with figural finial, with later glass bottles and stoppers, marked on base
The stoves 2 cm. high; the iron 4 cm. wide; the stand 10 cm. high
