A PAIR OF DUTCH SILVER PRICKET ALTAR CANDLESTICKS
Perhaps circa 1700, one struck with town mark of Amsterdam only, both struck with Dutch duty marks of 1798-1830
Each on triangular base with three ball-and-claw supports, each side centering a vacant cartouche flanked by cherubs and chased acanthus leaves, the knobbed baluster stem chased with auricular masks and foliage, the pricket candlestick with brass pin, marked on stems
