Kangxi six character mark and of the period (1662-1722)
Painted to the rounded sides with a continuous scene of figures, deer and cranes in a fenced pine-strewn river-landscape, the interior roundel with a pair of deer beside a pine-tree in a moonlit river-landscape, two small chips, hairline rim crack
20.5 cm. diam.
Together with a pair of Chinese blue and white bowls, Wanli (1573-1619), each painted with stylised flowers below a band of galopping horses at the wavy rim, 16.9 cm. diam., minor rim frits and chips (3)
