Two Rhenish stoneware armorial dated jugs
1609 and 1604
Comprising a one-handled jug on cylindrical foot, the globular body modelled with a coat-of-arms and inscribed GVILLIAVME:TYMMER:DE:TSEVEL:A1609, flanked by two griffins, the shoulder applied with masks, a lion mask beneath the spout, 25 cm. high; and a one-handled jug applied with three armorial roundels, the central one inscribed 1604, the neck with a band of composite strap-work, 15 cm. high, some frits and wear (2)
