CARRUADES DE LAFITE

Formerly known as Moulin de Carruades until the 1980s, this second wine of Château Lafite has attracted the attention of wine lovers more than any other second wine in Bordeaux. The name comes from the Carruades pleateau purchased by the Château in 1845.This second vin is blended with more Merlot than the grand vin and made from grapes grown in specific plots.
