Levels: five bottom neck, one very top shoulder; lightly corroded capsules, lightly scuffed labels loose at edges
"The Palmer '82 showed a luminous garnet color, bricking gently on the edge. On the nose the ripe black fruit character was overlaid with notes of lead pencil, cedar, forest floor and white truffle. On the palate the wine was still dynamic and lively, with enough structure left to support the fruit. Definitely mature, but showing well." CC, June 2006
