Château Haut-Brion--Vintage 1990
Pessac-Léognan, 1er cru classé
Levels: 2.5cm; one nicked and lightly damp stained label
"During a recent dinner, the 1990 Haut-Brion seemed to recall another era. The wine was slightly bretty on the nose, with red and black berry fruit colored with notes of iodine and freshly turned earth. The wine has a great aromatic complexity, and is very vineux on the palate - silken, dense and long. Showing its age, slightly, but fine, lovely wine." CC. Tasted at the Aston House in Walkerhill, Seoul, September 2010
