"A recent bottle of '75 Yquem proves this to be among the very best vintages of the past fifty years. The wine is beginning to mature now, with aromas of butterscotch, caramel, mocha, and ground coffee along with a fine minerally note. On the palate it is rich but never cloying, with a balancing acidity and a very slight bitter note that give an impression of dryness. Great long finish." At the 2010 Rare! Tasting in Detroit, CC, August 2010
