Château Mouton-Rothschild--Vintage 1982
Pauillac, 1er cru classé
Levels: bottom neck; one lightly corroded capsule at top, one signs of old seepage, one wine stained label, lightly wrinkled labels
"The '82 Mouton was a deep, opaque garnet color, and on the nose showed an exotic nose. There were hints of fig and plum overlaid with soy sauce and wild mushrooms - a very savory mix. On the palate the wine was spicy and soft, still balanced but with an emphasis on the richness that has been the hallmark of this vintage rather than the structure." CC, August 2009
