CENTRAL IRAN, 14TH CENTURY
Of rounded form on slightly raised foot, the white interior with central palmette contained within a pseudo-calligraphic roundel, the cavetto with a design of alternating panels of dotted quatrefoils on white ground and cobalt palmettes issuing lattice with black scrolls in the interstices, plain black band around rim, exterior with cusped arches and blue stripes, intact, traces of iridescence
