Arabic manuscript on paper, 286ff. plus 3 fly-leaves, each folio with 15ll. of neat black elongated bihari within red and black outlined text panels, gold and polychrome rosette verse markers, sura headings in white on gold panels issuing small gold and polychrome palmettes into the margins, juz' and sajda similarly marked in the margins, marginal notes in red and green, first folio with gold and polychrome illuminated shamsa, second bifolio with similar illumination surrounding sura al-fatiha and the beginning of sura al-baqara, the Qur'an followed by 3ff. of prayers, green colour beginning to corrode throug paper, in tan morocco with flap, gold-speckled yellow doublures
