Gouache heightened with gold on paper, a pair of orange-robed lovers sit upon a gold throne on a terrace attended by musicians and servants who bring them food, prepare a hookah, and fan them with a fly-whisk, before them a fountain inhabited by ducks, and behind them a large pavilion, laid down between gold illuminated green and pink borders, some scuffing
