A RUSSIAN PARCEL-GILT SILVER PURSE IN THE FORM OF AN EGG
MAKER'S MARK INDISTINCT, ST.PETERSBURG, CIRCA 1890
With engraved decoration, vacant label cartouche and a monogram flanked by leafage, cobalt blue silk concertina liner; also a Russian silver egg which dis-assembles to form a pair of egg-cups, probably by Carl Sievers, St.Petersburg, circa 1860, with engine-turned and engraved decoration and gilt interior
2 in. long (5 cm.) and 2½ in. high (6.5 cm.) respectively (2)
