Composed of two rows of claw-set shaded circular amethysts with old-cut diamond accents, mounted in gold, 33.3cm. long
Further details
The necklace was formerly from the estate of Patricia Spencer, née Preece, second wife of the artist Stanley Spencer. The necklace was a gift from Spencer to Patricia and she can be seen wearing it in his painting "Patricia at Cockmarsh Hill", 1935, now housed in a private collection
