An early 19th century swiss silver gilt pocket watch, by Dubois & Fils
The white enamel dial with central dead-beat second hand, subsiduary hour and minute dial with Arabic numerals and aperture for mock pendulum, signed Dubois & Fils, the gilt brass full plate movment with fusee, and debaufre type escapement consisting of a large five arm balance wheel and integral pinion on the balance staff and triangular shaped balance cock engraved Advance and Retard, the top plate engraved I.H. London, the silver gilt case engine-turned the reverse with circular vacant cartouche, hallmarked, London, 1828, case diameter - 57.50mm
