See Winifred Baer, et el, Carl Daniel Freydanck 1811-1887, Ein VedutenMaler der KPM, Berlin, 1987, for an in-depth discussion on Freydanck's work.

See Derek E. Ostergard, ed., Along the Royal Road: Berlin and Potsdam in KPM Porcelain and Painting 1815-1848, The Bard Center for Graduate Studies in the Decorative Arts, New York, 1993, p. 41, fig. 2-9 for a canvas by Freydanck of the Royal Palace of Sanssouci and p. 157-8, cat no. 45-46 for a study and an oil on canvas of The Church of the Savior at Sakrow. This church was designed by Ludwig Persius based on sketches by Friedrich Wilhem IV. After its consecration in 1843 the Royal family regularly attended Sunday mass here. Also see p. 174-175, cat.no. 62 for a set with topographical cups of the same form but smaller size.
