The serpentine ormolu-molded top above a conforming frieze centered on each side by a cartouche cast with arms bearing three fleur-de-lys, the angles headed with female herms, on slight cabriole legs tapering to hairy-paw sabots, the legs joined by a pierced stretcher centered with a seated figure of Cupid, the reverse of the mounts variously incised MN
