DATE CYPHER FOR 1888, GILT CROWNED GLOBE AND IMPRESSED UPPERCASE MARKS, AND SHAPE NO. 1937, SIGNED WITH AN AB MONOGRAM FOR ALBOIN BIRKS
Of baluster form, the trumpet mouth with scale pattern, flanked by gilt enriched rope-twist handles with Bacchic mask terminals, the central frieze finely painted and hand-tooled in white slip with putti holding floral festoons and playing instruments, between richly gilt bands of grotteschi, on a conforming foot
