The double domed top with giltwood classical figural finials and with two arched later mirror plates opening to a fitted interior with busts in niches, pigeonholes, drawers and folio slides surrounding prospect doors revealing further drawers, the lower case with slant front opening to a fitted interior over two aligned and two graduated drawers on later bun feet, 18th century hardware not original to piece, the later giltwood carvings and the interior refitted in the manner of period
