The Bullocks Wilshire invoice from 1984 describes this wild boar meat dish as the work of Buccellati, suggesting that Fratelli Lisi was one of the suppliers to Buccellati of their signature works in the naturalistic style. Founded in Florence after the Second World War, Fratelli Lisi is particularly well-known for their silver animals with life-like "fur," a technique which speaks for Lisi's mastery of their craft.
