The stand rectangular, on four wing and paw feet, the gadrooned border with shells and acanthus at intervals, fitted with two cut-glass inkwells with silver neck mounts and covers, with central taperstick, the stand engraved with a coat-of-arms, fully marked, the taperstick 1822
