Oval, with two scroll and acanthus handles and joins, on four scrolled feet with conforming decoration, the body applied with two cartouches centering engraved coats-of-arms, the rim gadrooned with acanthus at intervals, the domed cover with conforming decoration, the finial modeled as a pomegranate,with later silver plate liner, marked underneath and on cover bezel
15½ in. (39.5 cm.) long over handles; 129 oz. 10 dwt. (4,031 gr.)
