Lot Essay

Charles Francis Nosotti (c.1831-1909) was active at this address from 1854 to 1881. By 1870 he was advertising himself as carver and gilder to His Imperial Majesty Napoleon III. He is probably best known for decorating the chapels of the Brompton Oratory.
