The hafts carved in relief, on one side with the Crucifixion, Mary Magdalene praying below, within the Tools of the Passion, the reverse with the Virgin and Child Enthroned, with attendant angels and the initials C.R., the spine carved with the figure of the infant Christ in swaddling clothes
