Carved in the form of a curled leaf, the exterior with sinuous chilong with bifurcated tails, clambering amidst fruiting grape vines, with a handle carved as a chilong peering over the rim to one side, the horn of a rich dark brown tone

Please note this lot is accompanied by a letter from Animal Health agreeing that Christie's may sell it without further CITES certification. Animal Health have also indicated that they would be unlikely to grant a re-export permit for this item to leave the EU post-sale, though any application would be considered on its merits at that time.
