The circular body supported on three elephant-head legs and brightly enamelled around the exterior with lotus blooms borne on meadering scrolls, the open work detachable top section with pairs of archaistic dragons flanking shou characters, the domed cover with ferocious dragons amidst clouds interspersed by stylised shou characters and surmounted by a gilt qilin on top of a lotus bloom
