A GILT-COPPER FOOD BOX AND COVER

Of quatrefoil shape, the cover with a peach group finial flanked by four character roundels reading yi pin dang chao ('May you become a mandarin of the first rank'), set with grounds of phoenix, deer, fish and birds amongst blossoming branches bordered by key-fret bands, the sides with similar grounds and two shou characters to two corners, supported by four ruyi-shaped feet, the interior containing gilt-copper bowls, covers and accompanying dishes with similar decoration and finials
