The stoutly potted rectangular vessel supported on four slightly splayed legs, the sides with taotie masks divided by gently raised flanges, the rim with a band of archaistic scrolls and applied on either side with square handles, the base with a six-character mark reading 'xi yin shu wu zhen cang'
