One huanghuali box of three tiers and the other with two, the hongmu box also with three tiers, each comprising a cover and a shallow upper tray, held on a base frame with two side posts flanked by scrolling spandrels and joined at the top with a humpbacked handle, the covers with corner ruyi-head and plain mounts, all edges with metal reinforcements and with threading pins
