TRANSITIONAL PERIOD, CIRCA 1630-1650
Painted with a scene of a scholar surrounded by attendants, standing beneath a canopy held by one attendant while he faces two others presenting gifts, three further attendants standing to the side, all within a terraced courtyard set in a rocky mountainous landscape and below pendent leaf tips on the neck
