Each finely enamelled in bright colours with two cartouches enclosing garden scenes inhabited by female figures, attendants, officials and boys, all framed by a gilt classic scroll and interpersed by smaller cartouches enclosing birds perched on trees, the waisted neck with two cartouches enclosing figures and interpersed by smaller further puce-enamelled cartouches, the gently domed cover surmounted by an iron-red and gilt Buddhist lion finial
