The present impresses by its attractive, original condition and the beautifully aged black lacquer dial, harmonizing with the ivory tone of the luminous numerals and hands and the gilt printing. Moreover, the inside case back is dated III.66 for the third quarter of 1966, the clasp of the expandable Rolex Oyster bracelet is stamped 4.65 for the fourth quarter of 1965.

Reference 5513 was launched in 1962, depth rated to 200 meters (660ft), fitted with the 8 mm. crown, crown guards, the bezel with minute divisions for the first fifteen minutes and silver triangle, black dials with gilt printing. As of 1964, the designation "Swiss T<25" was added to the bottom of the dial.
