Lot Essay

According to the Archives of Montres Piaget, the present watch was manufactured in 1971.

The dial of the watch is made of an entire piece of the precious or noble coral Corallium Rubrum, which ranges in colour from dark red to pale rose. It is, together with pearls and amber, a so-called "organic gemstone".
