Lot Essay

With F.P. Journe Certificate of Authenticity and Warranty card dated 16 March 2009, fitted presentation box and outer packaging.

The Tourbillon Souverain, another of F.P. Journe's horologic masterworks, is distinguished by its complications, combing a one minute tourbillon with a remontoir. The remontoir provides a constant force to the balance, hence maintaining an equal rate of force whether the watch is fully wound or not and increasing the precision. In the second generation of the Tourbillon Souverain, the present lot, F.P. Journe add a dead beat second indication.
