The tapering squared backplate headed by a Roman Centurion's bust, issuing a single-branch oil-lamp with glass bowl, decorated overall with fruit-filled baskets and cornucopiae, foliage and drapery; together with a group of tôle peinte including a French parcel-gilt and green oil lamp, a similar French lamp, a French oil lamp with swan-neck handles, a Restauration green and red jardinière, and a Restauration green and gilt monteith
