A FINE DOUCAI 'MEDALLION' BOWL
DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEALMARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
With steep slightly flaring sides, finely penciled in underglaze blue and enameled in yellow, iron-red and green with five roundels containing either flowering or fruiting trees divided by pomegranate sprays above a band overlapping leaf lappets around the base
5 7/8 in. (15.1 cm.) diam.
