The steep sides of the washer are vertically ribbed and rise to a flattened rim, flanked on either side by large butterfly handles suspending loose rings, the interior and one side of the exterior carved in deep relief with blossoming prunus branches, all supported on a low foot carved as a prunus flowerhead, the stone of a greyish white tone with minor russet and grey streaks
