A hexagonal box and cover with a court lady from a scene from the Tales of Ise seated on rocks, fitted inner tray, lead rims; the footed boxes [hokkai-bako] with scrolling vines, one containing shells for the shell game; the natsume in gold hiramaki-e with flowers, birds and fans
