Signed Bishu Osafune Sukesada saku, Edo period (17th-18th century)
The slender blade of even curve, hamon of gunome with kani-no-tsume, distinct rounded yo, and togariba, the saya with lateral bands of black migakiji alternation with aogai togidashi-e, metal fittings of copper migakiji with engraved ichimonji mon, one menuki of a tachi and kabuto with a dragon maedate, iron tsuba pierced and carved with Chinese figures, with signature Goshu Hikone ju Mogarashi Soten sei, length 67.3cm.
