The slender vase potted with gently flared sides rising to the broad shoulder, painted in black with three panels depicting scholars in landscape amongst scrolling flowers, in-between a wide band of flower blooms and scrolling foliage above the foot and further decorative border to the shoulder, all covered with a turquoise enamel
